La Vasca in Melbourne delivers premium food preserves and gourmet pantry items across selected Melbourne suburbs. This Shipping Policy explains how we pack, handle, and deliver your order, including our 3‑hour delivery guarantee.

1. Delivery Areas

We currently deliver within Melbourne Metro Area, Victoria.

Delivery eligibility is based on distance from South Melbourne (postcode 3205).

If your postcode is within our service radius, the same day delivery guarantee applies.

If your address falls outside our delivery zone, please contact us — special deliveries may be possible depending on availability.

2. Operating Hours

Our delivery service operates during the following hours:

Monday to Friday: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Saturday & Sunday: 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM

Orders must be placed before 4p.m for same day delivery. Orders can not be placed outside operating hours.

3. 4‑Hour Delivery Guarantee

We offer rapid delivery within 4 hours of order placement for all eligible Melbourne postcodes.

How it works

Orders placed during operating hours are delivered within 4 hours.
You will receive a confirmation email once your order is dispatched or out for delivery.

Delays

While we prioritise meeting the 4‑hour window, delays may occur due to:

If a delay is expected, we will notify you immediately.

4. Processing Times

Orders are processed promptly, typically within 1–2 hours of being placed. During peak periods (holidays, promotions, high‑volume days), processing may take slightly longer, but the 4‑hour delivery window still applies for eligible orders.

6. Delivery Instructions

someone is available to receive the parcel if required

If a parcel is returned due to incorrect details or inaccessible delivery locations, or no one is available to receive the delivery, additional delivery fees may apply.
